Adytum is not the typical B&B or bed and breakfast, but a luxury holiday retreat in the heart of Mossyrock, Washington. Adytum, meaning ‘sanctuary,’ is a unique retreat with three suites. Adytum will always be a work in progress, the work of a lifetime. While the Star of the North Suite, The Orion Suite and First Light have largely fulfilled the romantic and spirit nurturing visions we have for them- encompassing every extravagance, the 15 ¾ acres will always be evolving. We and our staff are committed to doing the work by hand, forgoing chemicals, pesticides and herbicides, carving walking and meditation paths out of dense, thorny brush and supplanting weeds with natives. From the Tempurpedic beds to the luxurious linens, Adytum is a very special lodging retreat in the Pacific Northwest.

Through one of 75 windows follow the flight of the birds, survey the gardens, Koi pond and Lake Mayfield, Tilton River and Cowlitz River and mountains in the distance. As in the rest of the house, the views from every window are quite simply breathtaking. Enjoy a hike at Mt. Rainier or Mt. St. Helens. Spend the day exploring Seattle, Portland, or Tacoma, but come back to enjoy the special accommodations in Mossyrock, WA.
